The Charleston Area Community Development Corporation
(CACDC) is a local 501 c 3 non-profit organization. We serve
residents of Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties whose
income is at or below 80% of the area median income.
Our mission is to improve the conditions of low income communities
through programs and activities which promote economic
development for neighborhood residents and create affordable
housing, jobs and other programs that lead to enhancing the wealth
of low income neighborhoods.
The CACDC provides the following services to its target population:
· Financial Literacy Education
· Homebuyer Education
· Debt Management
· Individual Development Accounts (IDA)
· Owner Occupied Rehabilitation
· Acquisition/Rehab/Resale
· Development of New Affordable Housing Units
· Short-Term Rental Units
· Neighborhood Stabilization Program
