Class Information

The Charleston Area CDC provides several Educational Opportunities to a growing number of
low-income citizens in the Charleston area.

Our services include:
-15 weeks of classes covering
financial literacy education, debt management and first time home ownership.   Each member receives a certificate upon successful completion
-Personal credit and budget counseling, coupled with opportunities to
re-establish banking relationships through CDC supported savings accounts.
-In addition, we help families with down payment assistance, allowing them to plan for their future and realize the American dream of home ownership.

These classes continue for 15 weeks and upon completion graduates receive a certificate and eligibility for down-payment assistance.
